Notes: East Block of GNP, “Story Lull” forest

Growing on fallen aspen (Populus tremuloides), with more aspen fallen on top further down (like pick up sticks – seems to be relatively old forest with little disturbance)
Lots of FBs all along the log
Faint mushroomy smell
Purplish below, especially on margins
Fuzzy on top (velvet)
Green algae on top
