Observation 142014: Hygrocybe nitida (Berk. & M.A. Curtis) Murrill

Found growing on a moist hill side solitary. Under Red oak and American beech
cap small 2 cm yellow turning inward center forming a small depression chanterelle like, but having true gills
gills decurrent lighter yellow distant.
Stipe 5 cm yellow smooth.
spore print white
