It’s very kind of you to offer to send this specimen. I would indeed like to receive it. I don’t think we have a record of elongata from west of the Mississippi. And I have been very frustrated in the past in trying to get samples of DNA from elongata to compare with other similar species like flavoconia. Just silly accidents and misfortunes of one kind or another. Your collection reminds me that I should try again.
