Observation 142390: Entoloma subgenus Nolanea (Fr. : Fr.) Noordel.

When: 2013-08-11

Collection location: New London Co., Connecticut, USA [Click for map]

Who: Sam.Schaperow (SamSchaperow)

No specimen available

Please help ID. Hygro-something, perhaps.

Wet but not slimy cuticle.

BTW, the smile wasn’t deliberate. It was just a crack that formed during handling. The umbo happens to be there as if a nose, spots happen to be there as eyes of sorts, and I’m not kidding.
