Observation 142560: Clitocybe odora (Bull.) P. Kumm.

Notes: 1/2" high gray/blue-green cap at level of leaf litter – has gills, a thick stipe, fibrils on cap and a remarkable color. No odor of anise. What is it?

In fact, there were C. odora fruiting within a couple hundred feet two weeks ago. It is the only agaric I have seen that could produce this color, I guess it was to young to have the anise aroma.
