Emerging from rotten wood. Cap 52 mm. wide, 5 mm. thick above stipe,pale orange brown, darker center, brown umbo, margin lined to 10 mm., no patches. Gills cream. Stem 128 mm. × 7 mm. mid-height, cream, smooth at top, scurfy below, tapered at apex, no ring, indistinct base, whitish volval sac staining red brown, hollow.
