No herbarium specimen

Notes: On ground under balsam fir and red maple in mixed woods. Cap yellow brown, 25 mm., paler umbo and margin, shiny when dry, flesh cream colored. Gills cream, free to notched. Stem cream, 45 mm. × 4 mm., solid. Pleasant taste. No distinctive odor. Pinkish white spore deposit.
