Cap grayish yellow brown, 30 mm., with metallic sheen, convex, sunken center, fibrous margin splitting in age, thin pallid flesh. Gills broad, pink buff, free to adnex. Stem color of gills, 50 mm. × 6-7 mm., swollen white base. Pink spore deposit. On mossy ground in mixed woods.
