Notes: I don’t know the species R. eccentrica very well; collected once and was IDed here at MO.
This specimen was found about 10 feet away from a cantharellus (former C. cibarius types), which I mention because there had been some ineterest expressed in a possible relationship between these types and R. eccentrica.
Along a stream in birch hemlock-dominated woods.
