2 types growing next to each other, the larger one had a wet look ontop. Grew in riversand inbetween rocks

Thanks for the Comment Landsnorkler, Unfortunately these are the only pictures I had at the time when my interest kicked off with fungi..:(

I’ve learned a lot more now with regard to placing an object for comparison of size and the gill shots etc.

Pisolithus tinctorius for the puffball like one and Laccaria for the mushroom – though clear pictures showing the gills of the mushroom are needed for a solid ID. Also, in the future, separate observations should be created for each species posted.
