Notes: Found growing alone in between American Beech, Maple and Tulip Poplar
Cap huge 18cm, flat with brown like wart patches becoming more concentrated at the center. Margins has fibrils hanging of them
Gills not Attached, broad spore print white
Stem 42 CM then 2cm thick at the base Tappering to 1 cm at the head , base more bluntly round Than swollen or only slightly swollen, a ring about 6 cm down from cap
Edited put into cm so not so confusing

A 25" long stipe?! Or did you mean a 2.5" thick stipe? Mixing units of length from different systems always leads to confusion. Either way, the stipe is too meaty to belong to M. procera.
