Observation 14359: Lichen P. Micheli
When: 2008-11-17
No herbarium specimen

Notes: There are at least 4 different lichens in this photo, but this observation is only for the middle plate-like crust fungi in the upper center of the photo. Surface is mostly white to slightly brownish, with long mostly straight lines cutting nearly through it; reverse is black; growing on stonework near the parking area on top of Larch Mountain. There may be 2-3 cup-shaped areas center to left of center, with a darker-colored gray in the center. Very small crustose lichen, that was difficult to get any kind of photo from (sun directly in back over the top of the stonework).
