not unless it was particularly soft, which it doesn’t appear to be. even then, it’s awfully thin for any Posita/Oligoporus/Tyromyces I’ve seen.

unless Alejandro knows something we don’t, I don’t imagine Polyporus s.s. containing something looking like this. there are no sessile, thin, completely planar Polyporus sp. to the best of my knowledge.
