I felt like I’ve seen this type before.

But I could not put my finger on the name. Thought about Simocybe, but although small, these were somewhat robust. I looked very closely for marginal striations, but saw none.

When I saw Ham’s Agrocybe firma proposal, this immediately made sense to me. Too bad I didn’t get a decent spore print. I don’t know if the “bowling pin” cystidia supports the A. firma proposal.

Thanks for the input. I visit the collection site occasionally. maybe I’ll run across a few more of these.
