Any distinctive odor, Eva?

While this might be Arcangeliella, it could also be a Hypomyces-mummified Lactarius. Arcangeliella is related to Lactarius, so even more complex. Arcangeliella is usually a small fungus, with sequestrate spores. Did you do any mycroscopy on this?
