Hello, Chris. My notes led me back to this observation after seeing yours. This material is in my herbarium as well as four other collection of the Phalloideae from the Chiricahua Mountains Mycoflora project. We’re pulling them this morning and hope to re-examine old notes, etc.

This material has been received and accessioned into Rod’s herbarium.

The tall, free, volval limb and the failure of a KOH test on the cap may indiccate that…

this materia belongs to A. elliptosperma or a similar ellipsoid-spores species of sect Phalloideae.
