No herbarium specimen

Notes: On mossy ground in mixed woods after 3 weeks without rain. Cap up to 18 mm., convex, orange yellow, densely powdery, wrinkled and with veil remnants at margin. Gills close, white. Stem up to 45 mm. × 3-4 mm., color of cap, veil remnants present. Very strong odor. KOH on cap surface red brown. Spore deposit white.
