Observation 144287: Tricholoma colossus (Fr.) Quél.
When: 2004-11-27
Collection location: Braga, Portugal [Click for map]
No herbarium specimen

The pines where I found these ones, had been cutted recently, unfortunately. I don’t remember how to return to that place, but I would like to. This photo was lost and is the only one that I found on this old CD, I took some more, and even brought one home and I ate a piece. This one had ± 35 cm diam.

it’s T. colossus, this was the biggest one. Flesh: salmon pink, tough but smooth.
