On ground in mixed woods. Cap up to 8 cm., olive green with yellow margin, dark fibers over disc, conical to convex, thin fleshed. Gills broad, free to notched, whitish becoming yellow at margin. Stem 7 cm. × 1.5 cm., white, scurfy with yellow flush. Mealy odor. Mild taste. White spore deposit.
