Observation 144364: Laccaria ochropurpurea (Berk.) Peck

When: 2013-09-01

Collection location: north-central West Virginia, West Virginia, USA [Click for map]

Who: Aaron (CatFighter)

No specimen available

I did not pick this one; just took a picture of it. There were several together and they were near (but not underneath) a conifer (maybe a hemlock, but don’t recall), in a field with grass in direct sunlight.

I’m sorry, I’m new to this so if you guys have any suggestions on what I should do to make identification better please let me know!
