Notes: This mushroom had an oblong shaped stem. It smelled like anise or almonds (I think more like anise).
I cannot figure out what this one is at all. I thought maybe it was an oyster mushroom but it was by itself and the gills don’t go down the stem at all.
I can probably find more specimens to do more analysis (spore print, or cut in half) if that would help.
