Notes: On mossy ground in mixed woods. Cap up to 2.5 cm., convex to sunken center, orange brown with paler margin, felted, sharp central knob. Gills pallid, crowded, subdecurrent. Stem up to 4 cm. × 4 mm., color of cap, paler at apex and scurfy. No odor. Mild taste. White spore deposit.
