Notes: Pinkish-red cap with Closely attached white gills and whitish stipe. White, brittle extremely acrid flesh. Stipe stuffed, becoming hollow. Terrestrial, on moss in Oak, Hemlock, Maple, Birch woods. Riparian section of the woods near a creek.
