Fairly rigid but brittle stipe. No staining. Mild odor is pleasant. In fertilized grass in city parks. Hollow stem. Cap is firm. Gills pale tan to dark brown with age.

are too black for Panaeolina, P. cinctulus is possible, but its also pretty hard to rule out P. olivaceus & P. fimicola at this stage. Microscopy and maybe pictures of fresher specimens could help.
