Convex, greyish-white caps with adnate purple gills and thick, solid, fibrous white stipe beginning to peel. Margin incurved to decurved. Pilepellis smooth, and dry. Terrestrial in damp, mixed woods near Oak. Very fine Whitish hairs on the stipe.
