But they should be hot as should be the group around R. solaris.
How is your area? Thermophilous?
Russula is one of the most awful genera to determine. In fact, it is a crime to even try with photo alone. Do you microscope too?

I would have thought Russula ochroleuca too but the colour is darker/duller than all of the others I’ve seen and there appears to be yellowing at the base of the stems that I don’t see on Russula ochroleuca that i can remember. Taste is mild. No hotness.
