Notes:
Cap up to 11 cm., smooth, dry, orange brown with paler margin, thin pallid flesh. Gray gills. Stem orange brown below and paler at apex, up to 7 cm. × 9 mm. Purple brown spore deposit. Growing on well decayed stump which I believe to be conifer but can’t say with certainty as the woods are mixed.
