Notes:
In grass under red oak with balsam fir, tamarack and other conifers nearby. Cap up to 5 cm., blackish brown, velvety, inrolled margin. Gills decurrent, distant. Stem up to 9 cm. × 1.5 cm., blackish brown, solid, flesh gray buff. Watery latex.

Having never found these before I’m not sure whether these are parasitized by something or just old.
