Notes: On well decayed birch. Cap up to 16 mm., convex, darker umbo, scaly, partial veil remnants at margin. White crowded gills. Stem color of cap but white above ring, scaly, 4 cm. × 4 mm., swollen stem base, white basal mycelia. Cap and stem flesh pallid. KOH on cap surface black.
