No herbarium specimen

Notes: Flesh bruises pink, then purplish and finally progressive grayer to dark gray
Nearby trees are Mountain Hemlock and Silver Fir with occasional Lodgepole and Western White Pine.

Recognized by sight: I used to call this L.auratiacum as it seemed to have all the features specified by Smith and Thiers except for the Pine & Aspen habitat. I have no idea what to call it post Den Bakker..
