on MO – makes changing the ‘consensus’ easier for folks who bring contrary information to the table.
More importantly, it’s a European name, and not sure that it will last under scrutiny.
But I have no specific evidence for them not being the same, so that level of confidence
seems like a good compromise.
It is, at the very least, what we call A. bernardii.
I suppose there’s a far outside chance it could be A. vinaceovirens, but I don’t think so.
“Promising” instead of “I’d call it that”? Is there something else this could be? :)
