Observation 145522: Cortinarius anomalus group

On ground in mixed woods. Cap pale brown with orange brown center, 4 cm., cream flesh. Gills pale gray brown. Stem 5 cm. × 8 mm., stuffed, red brown rings. Mild odor and taste. Rust brown spore deposit.

I think this is an old/washed out C. armillatus.

thank you. I find the Cortinarius group to be interesting but huge and hard to get a handle on re individual species. Thanks for your help.
