On ground under red pine in mixed woods. Cap 55 mm., tacky, yellow buff, pallid flesh. Yellow pores, small, weeping clear liquid. Stem pale orange, 8 cm. × 1 cm., outer surface turning black with handling,orange flesh. Tastes like lemon! (acidic) Brown spore deposit.
