Observation 14599: Agaricomycetes Doweld

No herbarium specimen

Notes: This was a rather large specimen as far as fungi is related. The fungi was about 10 inches in length and about 4 inches in width overall.
It had no smell, and the spore were a light brownish colour, but very little was collected.
I was able to dislodge it from the log and show the base of the stem and underside. Texture was of the woody type but tending to be brittle. It broke up easily when handled.The area was continously in filtered low light with damp surrounds most of the year.
