Notes: Very large, fresh open capped fruiting-beneath Western red cedar, Douglas fir and Alder trees.

Temp: mid 60’s-raining.

Note: the orange/pink staining on broken stem in image 3.

Recognized by sight: The grey and woolly background and more graceful habit are good traits to identify C. olivieri from C. rhachodes.

They are all still edible and delicious in my opinion! I think olivieri (the dark shaggy parasol) is the best!
