Cap 7 cm., pale yellow, dry, cracked, split at margin with veil remnants. Gills gray, close, attached. Stem 4.5 cm. × 12 mm., whitish upper half, yellowish lower half, scurfy, white mycelial threads at base. Flesh of cap and stem white, not bruising/staining. Mild odor and taste. Dark purple brown spore deposit. On ground under maple and sycamore in leaf duff and wood chips by the side of a pathway.
