and cheilocystidia are bottle/bowling-pin shaped, with some tips encrusted. I think this rules out Hebeloma. Cystidia look more like what I’d expect for Inocybe.

While leading a foray at a local park, one of the participants handed me some mushrooms… these together with obs 146793. In my mind they all automatically got lumped into Hebeloma. Later I noticed the small ones had glabrous cap surfaces and the larger ones were slightl scaly. So I separated out the two types, but still had Hebeloma in my mind. The power of suggestion!
