I strongly doubt S.hirsuta theory.

S.hirsutum is very common around here. While it takes many colors and forms (they say it’s not a single species, but an entire group), they never form long continuous shelves like this, and don’t usually form resupinate surfaces covering entire bottom part of logs (they tend to be in form of separate patches eventually forming continuous surface, but one can easily see that).

Leathery texture, didn’t give any spore print.
