No herbarium specimen

Notes: Usually we only find a few of these each year, although we always found some each year. But this year, I was able to find 100’s and 100’s of these, in one redwood grove there were just everywhere, growing in lines among the deep redwood duff.

The second photo shows darker brown patches on one cap, these are not part of the mushroom, but are spore prints from a neighboring mushroom. So, that gives you an idea of the spore color.
