Observation 14754: Gomphidius oregonensis Peck

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Found in a mixed coniferous oak forest. There were a lot of what I think slippery jacks around. This mushroom is definitely not slippery jack since its undercap had gills. When cut did not stain – however the stalk is very yellow. I was curious if it could be matsutoki mushroom but apparently it is not.
