Notes:
collected under Corymbia citriodora and identified through rDNA sequencing. These were noticed to appear for consecutive three years during rainy season (July and August). The nucleotide sequences were submitted to Genbank, NCBI (Accession numbers: KF194357)

Pestalotiopsis is a Sordariomycete/Pyrenomycete genus of very small, endophytic, plant pathogenic fungi. What you have here is a fleshy Basidiomycete, either a stipitate stereoid or a polypore. I suspect your sequence may have become contaminated.
