Observation 148193: Panaeolus papilionaceus (Bull.) Quél.

When: 2013-10-13

Collection location: Wellington, New Zealand [Click for map]

Who: rowsa21

No specimen available

Notes:
Recently i found what i believe to be a few mushrooms which i think are related to the liberty cap species due to their characteristics and growing habitat.Even thought they don’t bruise blue i am hoping that they are psychoactive and confirmation of this being true or false would be greatly appreciated.

They were growing in a long grassy area in a type of paddock. I picked them near cattle feces and close to a running stream giving it a water source. They were growing in small clumps of maybe 2 or maximum of 3.

Here are some images of them.

Som of these look like different species but i just wanted to give a general idea.
