On ground under Quetta pines. Cap up to 11 cm., buff with brown center, convex, irregular, wavy, cracked margin, white flesh.. Brown free gills. Stem whitish, up to 5 cm. × 12 mm., swollen base, superior ring. Unpleasant (foul) odor. Specimens too desiccated to have staining reaction if otherwise present.
