Recognized by sight: Annulus and basal structure don’t look quite right for velatipes. But this may be due to weather/aging. Looks like the basal volval rim may have torn away from the basal bulb.

The striate margin implies to me that this would probably be in the section Vaginata; I don’t find confirmation of that on Rod’s site or in MycoBank. Do you know where information on current section designation would be?
