Observation 148498: Cantharellus subalbidus Smith & Morse

Notes: Cap larger and meatier than C. formosus; white cap and hymenium, with yellow or yellow-orange spots and splotches on the top and near the base. Often mis-shaped, like multiple fruiting bodies bonded together.

These were found in a drainage ditch next to the road, erupting through gravel.
