from knee high to arm’s reach height
on that mature, dead/dying white oak
or could be a cherry but i think white oak
I remember the underside being smooth and yellow
the top feels exactly like fake velvet
like on chocolate heart boxes
it holds moisture but doesn’t seeem to produce it
it was about as long as two hands, as tall as a fist, and as deep as 1 hand
indistinct or absent growth rings
