Observation 148872: Tricholoma intermedium Peck

No herbarium specimen

Notes: Large, dense, firm Tricholoma- fruiting beneath Ponderosa pine and Douglas fir in montane habitat.
Elevation: 1,400ft.

Somewhat floccose cap from center to margin on younger specimens- older, larger fruit body: yellowish and smoother on cap.

Stalk: dense, firm, whitish-cream.

Gills: cream colored.

Could be a close relative to T. imbricatum possibly.

Temp: upper 40’s-raining.
