Small (cap ~1 cm) thick open gilled violet mushroom growing (coincidentally?) in Canada Goose poop within 6" vertically of lake’s edge.

L. amethystina is reported in a Wikipedia article as being mycorizal with beech. There are beech on the island, but not anywhere near this occurrence.
