I received the link only today. Yesterday, I only knew the name and I put the “based on microscopic features” and the acknowledgments to the person who did it. And the comments has nothing to do with “you”, it’s just one thing that I want to clarify to everybody, since I’ve been a bit annoyed with some events here. Please do not see this as a complaint, just like a wreak.

was made before any indication of microscopic study was present. the Google+ link has since been added.

this is a simple question, and one that is asked, by me and others, of plenty of other users on plenty of other observations. there is a site-wide trend toward applying species names to lone macro photographs of ascomycetes whose identities cannot be verified without microscopic data. you are not being singled out, Elsa. if you would prefer to never be questioned as to how you arrived at a species ID which may require microscopy

1. provide the microscopy

or

2. indicate somewhere in your observation that you arrived at a given name via microscopic details (and, ideally, list what those details are).

You have no more obligation to show evidence than any other user has an obligation to agree with any unsupported claim.

Just to make it clear

1st You should trust my word, since I have no reason to invent micros or names from them. On the other hand, you do not doubt other people, why me then? Do you think I’m a liar?
2nd I am not obliged to provide evidence. Actually, today I received the photos of micros, and a link too. But I can find someone that does not provide it and I also have to trust her, is already a big favor they do to me.

Micro?
