Temporary memory lapse. Should know this one easily. Sporocarps very large, most over 12 inches across. Descending gills, bruising dark brown. Found under White fir and Eastern Red oak. Probable associate: White fir.


Sporocarps in situ. Very large oak leaves.
Decurrent yellow to rusty brown gills.
Edge of cap with wide-spaced striations.
